This modern song explores the feeling of being a “stranger in a strange land”. The song delivers a message of hope and perseverance, reminding listeners that even in seasons of wandering, God’s promises and “the goodness of the Lord” remain. The title track from his 2024 album, The Exile builds on the idea that despite feeling thirsty in a desert or questioning where you belong, faith and praise can be maintained.
