As we wrap up another week at Exile, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the conversations, stories, and moments we’ve shared together.
On Tuesday, we launched our first community poll, asking a simple but meaningful question: What is the way you experience God’s presence the most? The responses were encouraging and diverse, reminding us that God meets people in different ways and in different seasons of life. We shared this at our group page – https://www.facebook.com/
On Friday, I shared a video about the important role worship music has played throughout my own faith journey—from the days of Keith Green and the hymns of old, through the Passion movement, and into today’s worship artists. The video also introduced our new Exile Spotify playlists, which are designed to help us remember the songs that have shaped us while discovering music that continues to point us toward Jesus.
On Saturday, we introduced our first Exile Song of the Week: Find Your People by Drew Holcomb. The message of the song resonated deeply with our vision for Exile. We were never meant to walk alone. Community matters. Connection matters. Finding people who can encourage us, challenge us, and walk alongside us in faith matters.
Then on Sunday, our friend Mike Mast shared a powerful story reminding us of the importance of story itself. Each of us carries a unique journey, and when we share those stories honestly, they can become a source of hope and encouragement for others. Most importantly, Mike reminded us to keep our focus on the Lord, who remains faithful through every chapter of our lives. You can check that out here on our page – https://www.facebook.com/
