Saturday Song of the Week
On Saturday, Mike Mast posted the song of the week – Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood – here’s the YouTube link for the song.

Carrie Underwood wrote “Temporary Home”—released on her 2009 album Play On—to share a message of hope and her Christian faith that life on Earth is just a brief journey and that a better place waits in heaven. She was inspired by Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life, which she and her husband were reading at the time.

Sunday Story
On Sunday, I shared a video from a time when I pastored about an experiment we did at our church around tables. Community involves risk—but so does going it alone. At Exile, we believe something meaningful can happen when we choose to gather, listen, share our stories, and encourage one another.
