Tuesday Poll
We posted a poll asking “What genre of Christian Music appeals to you the most” – some said all.

Thursday Reflection
Mike Mast posted a video about prayer – What is prayer really all about?

Saturday Song of the Week
On Saturday, Karen Egyud posted the Song of the Week. The song is Our God Reigns (Over All the Earth). Here is the YouTube Link.

Martin Smith, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes recorded a new version called “Our God Reigns (Over All The Earth)” in 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original song and give the classic chorus a fresh life. Martin Smith originally released the classic chorus with his band Delirious? (a band I love) decades ago, and they wanted to revisit it.

New Additions: They wrote fresh new verses and a brand-new bridge (featuring contributions from Chris Tomlin and Cody Carnes) to make the song feel contemporary while keeping the core message.

Personal Connection: Kari Jobe shared that she grew up singing Martin Smith’s music and felt honored to collaborate on a new rendition with him and her husband, Cody Carnes.

Sunday – First Online Gathering
This past Sunday marked an exciting next step for Exile Faith as we held our first Online Gathering.

It was an evening centered on conversation, connection, Scripture, and prayer. We spent time together as a larger group before moving into smaller breakout rooms, where we had some honest and meaningful discussions. We then came back together to share reflections and ended our evening with a meaningful time of prayer.

One of our hopes for Exile has always been to create more than content to watch or posts to read. We want to create opportunities for people to encounter one another, build relationships, ask questions, and grow together in their faith. Sunday night gave us our first glimpse of what that can look like.

Was everything perfect? Of course not! This was our first gathering, and we’re learning as we go. But we were encouraged by the conversations, the participation, and especially the interest in gathering again.

We’re already beginning to plan our next Online Gathering. We’ll be sharing the date and time soon, along with some improvements to make registration, calendar reminders, and joining us even easier.

To everyone who participated in our first gathering: thank you for taking the risk of trying something new with us. And if you weren’t able to join us this time, there will be another opportunity.

Sunday Podcast
On Sunday, Mike Mast and I shared a video, part 2 of our 4-week pod – What is Discipleship?
